Retail Plant Guarantee

Trees and shrubs purchased at Seoane’s are guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase. If your plants fail they will be replaced once, or a merchandise credit for the full purchase price will be issued once. All claims are at the sole discretion of Seoane’s Garden Center.

You Must Have a Printed Receipt for Any Warranty or Return Claim.

Customer Replacement Procedure

If at any time you have a question to the condition of a plant purchased at Seoane’s, please contact us for instructions to remedy the problem. Failure to contact us in a timely manner may void your warranty. You may also bring us pictures of the plants in question.

If determined that replacement is required, you must provide us with your original sales receipt and the plant. (At no time will we accept credit card receipts/ statements or canceled checks). Please DO NOT dig up and return plants unless we instruct you to do so. Thank you!


Plant Guarantee Does Not Cover the Following

  • Plants purchased at a discount of 20% or more.
  • Annuals, perennials, roses, sod, vegetables, houseplants, tropicals, vines, grasses, and live or cut Christmas trees.
  • Plants planted in containers such as window boxes, planters, etc.
  • Plants damaged by insects, diseases, or animals.
  • Plants that fail to flower
  • Plants damaged by conditions beyond our control such as improper planting, insufficient care, extreme weather, winter die back or breakage, fire, accidents.
  • Plants that have suffered in appearance but are capable of recovering with proper care (Consult our Staff).
  • Plants that are transplanted.
  • Plants that have been previously replaced.

Non-Plant Return Policy

Qualifying merchandise may be returned within 30 days of purchase with a valid receipt. All merchandise must be in saleable condition. Damaged merchandise will not be accepted. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment received. Check refunds will be issued after 10 business days. Cash refunds over $50 will be refunded by corporate check.

Exclusions: Holiday-themed merchandise may not be returned after the holiday date. All clearance items are considered “final sale” and are therefore not returnable or refundable. Coupons are non-refundable.
