About
Seoane Landscape Design is a passionate, full-service design and build firm known for creative landscape plans, stunning outdoor spaces, and impeccable craftsmanship. Established in 1972 by Lou Seoane, the company prides itself on providing its clients with functional outdoor spaces that are both practical and beautiful. Over the past 50 years, Seoane’s has developed a reputation for the highest quality on the South Shore.
In 1983 Lou’s younger brother, David, joined the firm. David’s passion and leadership helped build Seoane’s to were it is today. With the new addition, Lou & David opened the garden center on the property allowing retail and wholesale customers access to high-quality plant material. The garden center has since grown to almost 10 acres of; premium plant material, house plants, statuary, lawn & garden items.
Who We Are
Since 1973, founder Lou Seoane’s philosophy has remained the same: create a landscape that is unique and functional, using only premium elements. In 1983 Lou’s younger brother David graduated college with a degree in landscape architecture – and their partnership was formed. The two brothers shared the same qualities, craftsmanship and passion for their creative work. This enabled them to create a landscape business founded on growth through customer referrals. They realized early on that their team of professional landscape foreman and supervisors had to be the best in the business. Most of their employees have been with the company for 20-30 years. Seoane’s employees make up a team of the best masons and plantsmen found anywhere.
The beauty of seeing your landscape project grows intelligently from the initial consultation to the end of the project. Seoane Landscape Design has earned many awards and recognition from over 4,000 homes that we have landscaped.
Dreams To Realities
The beauty of seeing your landscape project grow intelligently from start to completion lies in careful management. From the initial consultation and throughout the design/build process, Seoane’s customers have peace of mind because Dave and Lou’s attention to detail is involved in every step. We are recognized in the landscape industry as the leader in traditional and extreme landscape construction.

What We Do
Seoane provides imaginative and creative design solutions to transform our clients’ properties into truly unique and stunning spaces. We start with an initial meeting between the client and designer to tune into their wants and dreams. Back at the studio, the designer carefully crafts a conceptual landscape plan, which is presented to the client, including a detailed project proposal that clearly defines the scope of work. Once a layout and proposal are agreed upon, materials are procured, the initial layout is completed, and crews are facilitated to start work.
Seoane handles all phases of the landscape project from the initial design to excavation, site preparation, stone walls, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, fire pits, hardscape patios & walks, and landscape plantings & lawns. We also collaborate with builders, pool contractors, electricians, plumbers, irrigation, and exterior lighting contractors. From the first shovel in the ground to the final shovel of mulch, Seoane’s is there for you.
